Is Online Dating all it’s Cracked Up to Be?

People who use online dating services, especially free online dating sites, are obviously losers who can’t find dates like normal people, right?

That’s what I used to think, but if you really think about it, how do people communicate and interact with one another now? Yes, people still go to clubs, parties, and social gatherings, but more and more people are using the convenience of modern technology to network.

Online social networking has been commonplace for over a decade now. We interact through forums, chat rooms, email, instant messengers, and even blogs. More recently, websites dedicated solely to social networking, like MySpace, have emerged. With so much online socializing and techno mingling, is it any wonder society would turn to technology to meet others and develop relationships.
