Thursday Thirteen #1 - 13 Simple Ways to Say I Love You 1. Leave a short “I Love You” note in your sweetie’s lunch bag, briefcase, or purse. Scent it with your favorite cologne or perfume or, girls, give him a kiss with your favorite lipstick. 2. Instead of carving your names in a tree, write them in the mirror after a hot shower. You will be reminded of your love each time you take a shower until the glass is cleaned! 3. Use chocolates or a fruit, like grapes or cherries, to write I Love You on the table. 4. Make a CD with songs that hold meaning to you and load it in your significant other’s CD player without them knowing. If you want to get really creative and sentimental, add your own voice track commentaries between songs. (Something similar was done in a movie, but I can’t remember the movie!) 5. If you get in bed before your partner on a cold night, lay on her side to warm it up before she gets in bed. 6. Slip a chocolate kiss or a candy message heart into your lover’s coat pocket before he leaves for work. 7. Find a frame and place your wedding picture or a favorite vacation picture of the two of you together on the nightstand. 8. Warm up your beloved’s towel in the dryer and have it ready when she gets out. 9. Email your honey at the office or leave voicemail on her phone just to say I Love You. 10. Celebrate your anniversary any month, but on the correct date. Surprise your sweetheart with a special dinner or a small gift. 11. Send your lover a romantic card or a love letter through the mail. 12. Share a passionate kiss instead of a peck. 13. Put on your favorite song, turn the lights down, and slow dance in the middle of your living room.
