Germany is the country of my birth, Texas is my chosen home. I came to America in 1966, at the height of the Vietnam War, and, as a legal immigrant, was drafted. The Marine Corps had me 7 years including 2 in Vietnam. After discharge I came to San Antonio, TX. I met my wife here and my daughter grew up here. From 1987 to 2005 I operated my own small business. Now I make my living as a mystery shopper and by working on the Internet on my website dedicated to my favorite subjects, romance. Romance and being a romantic makes me feel good, having good relationships is very important to me, and I belief that any monogamous marriage should last into eternity and is worth saving at all cost. Any relationship is worth saving, but it takes time and work, to many take the easy way out. The lightest sign of trouble we get a divorce, it is cheap and easier than to work through your problems. Most people, when they divorce and remarry, trade in one set of troubles for a new, unknown set. I seems to me that it is so much easier to work with a known set of problems rather than with a new one.
